According to the IQ Air index, Skopje was eight most polluted city in the world yesterday, and ranked worst in Europe.
The Macedonian capital was again in the company of cities such as Lahore, New Delhi and Hanoi in the ranking of cities with worst air pollution in the world. This chronic problem returns every winter as thick smog covers the city for days on end.
